Jul 18, 2024 Being a filthy Castle/Arose enjoyer like myself made these songs not really hit for me, it could be possible now that he's middle aged and could have later complications due to early substance abuse that it would conjure up some similar feelings about looking about s--- through the lense of the afterlife. The only thing that gets me close to emotional is the family camcorder audio in the background of Temporary but I think Somebody Save Me is the better song cause making a song about your death and barely addressing your other daughters feels weird so they at least got some shine lyrically in the other one lol And there is something funny and kind of respectable about doubling down on the revival pop s---.
