Jul 22, 2024 Man Trouble beat is the most MMLP beat that i heard after the original MMLP. That thing had to be a full song.
Jul 22, 2024 I don’t know why you guys see deluxes everywhere lol they should push a last single after this one with Jelly and maybe a remix to promote it. Then BME before the year ends.
Jul 22, 2024 Nah, he’s been good for over 10 years, with Recovery he was coming from a big low in his life, that’s why it hits different
Jul 22, 2024 50 still had it back then, he just f----- up trying to push them headphones instead of promoting Dre’s like everyone else.
Jul 22, 2024 Not sounding positive and uplifting per say, I just don't think it's in his veins lol. Like, 'Lose Yourself' is inspirational and motivational but... he still sounds like, angry and forceful. Is just always how his vibes will be and I think that's right, I don't know what him sounding 'happy' would be like, it usually just translates to goofy. But uh, I think he's threaded what you're talking about throughout his music the whole time anyway, I don't think we need a whole album on that, it'd be pretty restrained and repeitive. How many times have we heard him talk about his come up, about struggling, how he's made it etc. I think we need music not about his persona or life anymore.
Jul 22, 2024 To me, it really doesn't feel like a single at all, though... don't know if it would work, just because of Jelly?
Jul 22, 2024 This album is pretty much a funeral, so Temporary should have closed the album with everyone crying
Jul 22, 2024 He can perform it somewhere with him, the other one would have been Fuel but they just released a rap record and it did nothing, it would feel like the same again. Maybe Fuel next? That’s if they s---t more videos.
Jul 22, 2024 In an interview from 2000 ” so whats gonna happen if people start being really nice to you? If you start getting really rich? Really really happy and you mothergucking barking dogs to talk about?” - then I’ll probably rap like Will Smith
Jul 22, 2024 Eminem really brought Slim Shady back, Got a Number 1 Album, and a Smash hit single in 2024. Let’s just take a moment and give a round of applause for the Rap God
Jul 22, 2024 im not liking the album still but great to see it doing so well in terms of sales i like the use of ai but slim shady eminem has never been my favourite side of eminem
Jul 22, 2024 Antichrist just too good. Been on repeat for two hours. The mix of his MMLP writing mixed with his modern style is so refreshing. Hopefully he continues writing like that.
Jul 22, 2024 Not sure about a positive album, but would like to see his 4.44. I have zero clue what that would look like, as he doesn't do the same stuff as Jay, generational wealth, buying property, black struggle, etc. I just think a more mature album is his only other avenue bar BME, as he can't do any more Slim, he's creeping closer to 60, and he is becoming more of a legacy act as time goes by. Humour and up tempo songs are still fine, but if say at 53 he's still doing stuff about acting 8 and killing prostitiues, then it may undo all the good work of TDOSS, as this was the last time it'll work given the concept.
