Jul 27, 2024 k--- You is one of the worst Em songs to me. Flow more choppy than anything post 2011, annoying voice, and I don't mind stupid lyrics but due to the above mentioned faults, they irritate me too as his delivery don't sell them to me. I always wanted to love this song and ended up liking only some parts.
Jul 27, 2024 I liked Greatest but after his smooth delivery on Side B and TDOSS, I can't stand the awkward shouting parts with which he finishes his verses on that song. He really has got that much better since Kamikaze. To me, nowadays he is at least on his 2004 level.
Jul 27, 2024 I wish Revival was one of those things that people either absolutely love or hate to death. like those albums and movies that people with weird taste or a certain vibe love while the majority don't like them. almost like Relapse basically. too bad it sucks so much that 90% of listeners agree it's trash

Sometimes I feel a bit mad bc he basically ruined one of the best possible club /hit material of a beat with that kinda funny a--- jokey song but still it's fun and that beat with Em's flow sounds good regardless. But after hearing Brand New Dance on DOSS, I felt like checking Encore out again. It'd have been a classic if it wasn't for the replaced tracks for sure.
Jul 27, 2024 Not agreed with Donda but I might check it again someday. Haven't listened to Vultures yet, don't have much expectations at all... Except, why would Slim Shady would miss Hailie and rap like that to her... I had a theory about those songs actually being Eminem and actually Shady in the end kills him in a way, (of course not literally, it's all in his head, Shady is alive and he kinda takes over Eminem in a way in the end) it's Em himself who is dead and talkin to his family on Somebody Save Me... lol, it's just hating. I'm happy that critics and even the users on sites bashing it like this. It proves that they can't be trusted when it comes to Em.
Jul 27, 2024 they are not love songs. And not generic for sure. And if you actually think a bit on it, you might see how those 2 kinda fits and adds something to the album. They serve a purpose in the concept of the album not just remakes of Castle & Arose bc EM thought they were slept on in Revival. (Which would be kinda insulting to Em's intellegence. I doubt he thinks those 2 are anywhere near Castle & Arose songs specially in terms of rapping and writing.)
