Aug 7, 2024 Anyone has any experience with TIDAL? I want to make the switch from Apple Music. Maybe em won’t feel the difference in pay, but I got a couple of unknown artists that I want to help more by streaming.
Aug 7, 2024 I have last.fm but I just got this too and am waiting for my Spotify data to come in, W Trudeau
Aug 7, 2024 Tobey is my least played song on the album now. Lol I still like Em’s verse but yeah this shouldn’t have been a single. I get why tho, he wanted to put on for his city. But I would have gone with fuel or Antichrist
Aug 7, 2024 Mines too embarrassing for July to share lol Eminem White gold Big sean Babytron Dr.dre(not sure why he's on there I did listen to 2001 a buncha times early in july)
Aug 7, 2024 Same but I think it’s because I’m listening almost nonstop still. When I revisit this album years down the line I’ll probably listen in order most of the time to get the full experience
Aug 7, 2024 I’ve used it on & off over the years, it’s in a better place than it’s ever been, but it’s still behind the competition in UI design & experiences with bugs. They’re nowhere near as common as they used to be, but if they bother you too much you can always try Plexamp for the frontend whilst using your Tidal subscription.
Aug 7, 2024 I tried Tidal for a month recently. Wasn't super impressed and they are doing away with MQA and 360 audio, if that matters. They all seem about the same at the moment. Might as well go with the cheapest option, if it meets all your needs. I'm enjoying Youtube Music so far this month. Good quality and features so far. Also the Auto Mixes (Algorithm) are great so far compared to Tidal and Spoitfy. As of July 24, 2024, Tidal stopped supporting Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) and 360 Reality Audio (360RA) formats. Tidal replaced MQA music with FLAC versions and removed all podcasts and music in 360RA. Tidal chose FLAC as the default format for stereo sound because it's open source, allowing artists to deliver their music in that format. Tidal also chose Dolby Atmos as the format for immersive sound, citing the number of compatible devices, catalog availability, and artist adoption.
Aug 7, 2024 yeah that's my only problem with direct spotify-based stats, cause like Spotify has a s-----y a--- algorithm for determining who you like and what you listen to here's like a quick comparison of what Spotify says I streamed vs what I actually streamed in the last month
Aug 7, 2024 I was just checking if @jankland would show up. As soon as someone mentions the term "WOKE" Jank appears out of nowhere... It's kinda like "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice".
