    his voice hasn't changed that much since 2010, just use whatever weird a--- layering he was using from recovery, same flow, and you got the recovery sound. He did it on Tragic Endings as well but it's horribly mixed so it doesn't sound 100% like recovery

    Tragic Endings is from 2010/2011. The closest he's gotten to the Recovery sound in the last decade is the redone Castle verse in Arose.

    Reminder that Is This Love was advertised as a 2009 track even though the verses are 100% modern (only the hook and beat are from 2009). Eminem is a liar, sorry to break it to you stanleys (and obviously, Fredwreck is not going to tell you anything Eminem doesn't want you to know).

    Also:

    - Paul Rosenberg said the JBM hook is modern when it's obviously from 2000.
    - Eminem said he made Castle for Revival when it's obviously from the Recovery era.

    If JBM was released as a standalone track not attached to any anniversary edition, I’m almost convinced these guys would be arguing that all the old recordings in that song are actually modern Eminem perfectly imitating his voice from 1998 because he can totally just do that.
