Dec 14, 2024 Stillmatic was also great and that was 10 years in Nas career. 10 years in Em’s career he released relapse. They are pretty equal… I mean writing wise Relapse is obviously better but rapping I say One mic is as good as the best song on relapse. Relapse is heavily overrated. It’s still like #6 in his discography but the accents were overboard and too gimmicky trying to be like the SSLP. SSLP was better cuz the humor and battle rap type style worked better. Rapping about h----------s and Vicodin was cool for like 3 songs… but a whole album of that. Nah, Death of slim shady did the concept better and had better songs
