Jan 14, 2025 It's a weird high ground to stand on and preach, in context to him bringing attention to one track. He has a point, but it kind of falls flat, if he would have just tweeted that then it would make sense
Jan 14, 2025 I don't do excited, but this is some crazy s---. Em must be seething. What an absoute feast this recent batch of leaks has been though. d--- near every era covered, Suge diss, Nate Dogg feat, several Relapse tracks, OG versions of all recent revisits, a Slaughterhouse/Glass House track, that lost Bodied track etc. A lot of things crossed off any stan wishlist. That OG Antichrist is f---ing grim.
Jan 14, 2025 I know cry me a river. Once again - worth like 300 million, mansion, happy kids and called a genius for most of his life, praised non-stop and in control with what he loves to do. That's the f---ing lottery, the jackpot of existence. I think he's JUST FINE that some fkn songs leaked, big whoop. People in the world with real fkn problems - no limbs, no house, no food. Give it a rest. Violated lmao.
Jan 14, 2025 He will def be pissed but it does feel like Karma for all the cash grap crappy merch drops, and weak deluxes Curtain Call 2 = 3 weak “new” tracks, 1 was for an Elvis soundtrack, one was a pieced together old 2009 track, and “From the D to the LBC” was a track that didn’t make snoops album that they used to promote a BS NFT. He obviously has gems in the vault that he could release on these deluxes, and other projects that he would never release if not for these leaks
Jan 14, 2025 I forgot Eminem promoted NFTs… lmao those things fell off so hard. What a stupid period of time that was.
Jan 14, 2025 That s--- was as lame as fame. I could tell they wouldn't last as it just made no sense. Anything in abundance has no value, so just because you can say you own the 'original file'... what does that mean, when I can just screenshot it and replicate it in two seconds for $0 and it looks the exact fkn same lmao. r-----ed asf. Hence why like a rare vinyl is expensive, bc nobody has it and it's not easily replicated - sure somebody can make a vinyl, copy the cover etc. but it's not a two second job, and knowing it's the original created from the artist from a time period... music has that magic, that nostalgia; not some fkn digital picture/character.
Jan 14, 2025 wonder how Stevie feels about his sister and his father making fun of little boys dressing like girls
Jan 14, 2025 That he just listened to it and smt about that he would have left death row if it had been released during that time
Jan 14, 2025 So I look at death of slim shady as lazy now. Renaissance, starts with a verse from 2005, Brand New Dance, and Antichrist, are basically old songs from 20 years ago, and just changed some stuff around. I wouldn’t be surprised, if Lucifer, and evil are from 2005 too, which would explain why he dissed his mother. Em really has ran out of ideas it seems like. He always has to go back to old stuff.
Jan 14, 2025 We got violated for 4 years. f--- these ppl talking about. 4 years I could never get back
Jan 14, 2025 This argument would make more sense if we were talking about work in progress of a new album But, violated? Over 20+ year old recordings? Come on lmao
Jan 14, 2025 and we got all this s--- as intended at the time of recording, no censoring or weird unnecessary changes
Jan 14, 2025 I think Renaissance being from 05 is cap. Writing is very modern Em. 'soon as I quit giving a f--- I started to sell a bit'... that's 100% 2024 Em. Actually I can see how the very opening segment is... the rhyming isn't as complex, and he's even talking about him dangling the baby over the balcony which was 04/05... weird. But from then on I think he carried on writing: You aren't tamin' it, sharp pain in the heart Aimin' a bar, chamber to carve names in it Start sprayin' and start ravin' on beats, stark ravin' it You're at arm's length, you're in harm's way of it 'Bout to show your a--- why I'm still a pain in it < That's modern Em. He wasn't writing like that then. But yeah weird he choose to go back to so much 04/05 s---... I bet it's because he can still do the tonality, bc we know much of the stuff was re-written and re-done, and not AI as some claim like on Antichrist. But, thas maybe why he didn't go back to 99/00 bc he probably can't do those tonalities. But that was true Slim Shady era not 04. But yeah maybe he went back to some s--- he knew he could re-do tonally, and to try get in the same mindset for the album.
Jan 14, 2025 Yeah the very opening bars about dangling a baby over the balcony? Makes sense, bc it's less complex, no puns, and is talking about an 04/05 event. So, maybe he started with s--- from then to get back into the vibe, and then kept writing... using it as a jumping off point, and I bet using 04/05 bc he knew he could still do that tonality, wheras maybe not 99/00. Why he used AI for those parts on it.
Jan 14, 2025 Does anyone know when the super drugged up deep voice started? I mean the "king mathers" leaks and s---, it seems to be post Proof's passing since most of this s--- from '05 doesn't sound like that at all
Jan 14, 2025 Did you not read I said the first verse meaning the opening is from 05. I didn’t say the whole song.
Jan 14, 2025 You do realize that was the point of death of slim shady right…. It’s a legacy album. Encapsulates all his era’s, flows with nostalgia.
Jan 14, 2025 You do realize that was the point of death of slim shady right…. It’s a legacy album. Encapsulates all his era’s content and flows with nostalgia. Evil and lucifer are Prime examples. He switches cadences back and forth on those tracks several times for that exact reason.
