Only potentially positive thing about shows like this is that some nominees can get more recognition like some smaller acts/genres deserve and rarely some of the speeches can be disruptive in a positive way to the respective industry if the people winning aren't p-----s. The rest of it is slop. That awareness will not stop me from still being mad that The Rolling Stones won best Rock album
