Jan 5, 2022 Only thing that makes In Too Deep a skip for me is Em’s singing on the hook but it’s painfully bad to me I can’t hear it lol - verses & beat is cool even tho it’s a tired subject. Just think it doesn’t need to be there. Those Kinda Nights hook again the worst part but some of the shouting in Em’s delivery is ear grating, but he’s done much worse before.

Resorting back to something that worked 20 years ago would be desperate, it wouldn’t work out well and it would never capture that moment of time. Nostalgia is a beautiful thing but also clouds the HERE and NOW. He is capable enough to make something new that would be remembered in time. If he does or not, is the BIG question.

But the gimmick of Old slim shady, back to Marshal and then back to Slim Shady or what eve, is fan fiction and gimmicks from 20 years ago. It would not work . Needs to forget the past, those albums are set in stone. Create something new and groundbreaking. What he should be striving for when making music now.

Even today he could drop something that would usher in a new generation of Stan’s. maybe he doesn’t want to though . I think at this stage in his career he wants his fans happy and the respect . I don’t think he wants the attention of something that out tops his classics
