Jan 17, 2022 I'll be banned from this forum for this s--- but: am I the only one who thinks Walkthrough(just em's verse) is just a little bit overrated, lol? WAIT I think the beginning is goated, and I mean it, then it's just meh (since 2:00 till about 2:30), then it slowly goes up really good again and finally ends perfectly. Still an 8/10 (or more), I just don't get all the "make a whole album like Walkthrough"
Jan 17, 2022 I like the optimism but the punchline rap and a mtbmb style album is sorta what I expect from him now. It'll be interesting to see if that changes though, and Em usually finds something to switch up his sound (whether it's slight, or major) in one way or another on d--- near every album, so I'm interested to see what it is this time around!
Jan 17, 2022 I think it is rated quite highly but I also think when people say "make an album walkthrough style" they just mean smooth flows, concentrated topics, and little to no cornball punchlines.
