Em went at him on at least 3 different songs. -Fall -Lock It Up -b--- (leaked) Em might not have put out a full diss track but he definitely wanted the smoke. It was Joe who ducked at every chance. Using his retirement as an excuse. Because he didn't have to come out of retirement to write and record a reply diss to Em. He could have just done it while he was retired.

Apr 24, 2022 Revival is one of the most phoned in albums in music history. It’s overly forced and generic. There’s absolutely zero heart to me. I thought recovery was bad but this album is a pure example of copy and paste verses on s-----y beats with premade hooks. Em seemed like he had zero inspiration to make this album. Once walk on water and believe pass the album falls apart so badly. A handful of songs of Encore showcase prime Em. Mockingbird alone shows more heart and genuine emotion than all of revival

Heart wise, mf made some political statements with his chest out and I f--- with it. The first 5 tracks on Encore are classic Em, after that it's just garbage with like one or two exceptions. Sonically it isn't completely terrible, but I'm not bobbing my g.d. head to; Now in the Bible, it says Thou shall not watch two lesbians in bed Have h---------- sex However, I'll gladly sit through the whole glob of s--- that is the first half of untouchable if I can hear this fire a--- bar And streets act as a narrator, don't gotta read comics Or be that into characters, just to see that, just to be black You better be strapped with a derringer Or be "capped in America" like Steve Rogers Revival is lazy, sonically pretty f---ing bad at points, but at least mans had a message on (nearly) every song and stuck with it. That's heart imo. Edit: And just to add onto some more s---, when Encore "gets back to being good" after that dreaded middle part, it's just Em trying to make dance hits and being "zany" while failing to recapture the fun part of Slim Shady. How the f--- is Just Lose It not a carbon copy of My Name Is/The Real Slim Shady? That s--- is lazy & without heart, mf wrote the hook in 40 seconds and is proud of it

Apr 24, 2022 Revival failed at making good pop crossover songs like Recovery. I will never understand how you put the 2 biggest artist of the 2000’s on a track and end up with walk on water?! Like that song should have been a uptempo rap b-----r to start the Era. River tried to be like Love the way you lied too. But the chorus wasn’t strong or memorable. Like at least with Encore Em still was rolling out Moderate hits. Revival was probably the only album that didn’t have a definitive mainstream song. Im just Talking from commercial perspective it’s still weaker then Encore.
Apr 24, 2022 There's moments in your life when you realize you're not that big of an Eminem fan as you think. Two of these moments happened in my life 1 was when I seen zolt shady performing an entire Eminem recovery era concert in his living room movements, gestures, duck walking, and talking in the middle of the songs and all. Second was when revival came out I instantly realized it s----d and never looked back. I feel like genuinely believing revival is a good album is some how worse than pretending to be Eminem lol. Also if you're on a first name basis with Eminem and call him Marshall you're a f--.
