Aug 31, 2022 I remember waking up to this album and had the time to "only" listen to the first three songs cause of work and i went nuts fr The greatest first-3-run of Em's career, don't care
Aug 31, 2022 So good. Hearing The Ringer for the first time is one of the greatest moments in music for me, after the initial surprise drop as well. But then he has too ruin it at the end with two random love songs and end the album on a random, movie soundtrack song, just so he has that “ Bit Of Everything” formula in there, that he does for every album. Weird move as the album was condensed and shouldn’t have had filler or felt flat at the end. Would have been up there with his best work if he rounded off the album well and then ended the album with a b---.
Aug 31, 2022 I’ll never forget that morning when I first listen to the ringer. My jaw was on the floor.
Aug 31, 2022 Man came back after Revival and all that backlash and his first line is “let me explain just how to make greatness” That cockiness
Aug 31, 2022 And don’t forget guys that he dissed Joe Budden on his birthday… the pettiness is f---ing real
Aug 31, 2022 Far from perfect, but what an album. The Ringer is a literal masterpiece. That whole era was incredible — from the surprise drop, to Killshot. Definitely one of the highlights of his career; he somehow actually managed for recapture that vintage Em feeling when listening to an album the first time.
Aug 31, 2022 Aggressive hours is turning into gay hours and I couldn't be happier, my work is finally done.
Aug 31, 2022 Yeah. I feel like, by now Em knows what fans want. And by now, he should know what type of tracks, voice, tone, etc he should use. When his fans love songs like The Ringer, Premonition, etc. Youtube Reactors all went crazy with songs like The Ringer and Premonition. Even some of the critics like those tracks. It should be easy for him to make an album that pleases everybody, because 90% of his fanbase and Hip-Hop wants the same things from him. Because there's a lot of information now that wasn't available years ago. And he can access all of that information all by himself. He doesn't need Paul. I believe it's become more obvious than ever what people expect from Eminem: Aggressiveness, intensity, less monotonous vocals, slower flows, no supersonic speed, no more (or very few) doubles/triples, no corny punchlines, no more d-ck jokes. Find better content. That's it. Nobody's asking anything crazy from him. Nobody's asking anything he hasn't done before. He doesn't have to reinvent the wheel.
Aug 31, 2022 Who do you want me to talk about? You guys were like Who? And then they all outsold Em It's really easy to drop when there's nothing going on and make a bit of an impact. If you want the album to come and go in the mainstream, cool, but it feels kinda empty when that happens. This weak a--- CC2 era has been the most fun in a minute, and he barely did anything. People were excited at least. Surprise releases s---. Bad Bunny is doing the numbers most artists can only dream of these days. All it took was releasing a fun summer album during summer.
Aug 31, 2022 ”Fun summer album during summer” When u gonna release a summeralbum if not during the summer lel
Aug 31, 2022 lol but he could have released something generic. They did it the right way and dude still doing great after months. He also performed live at the VMAs lol didn't have to use videos with PS2 graphics. Shady Records still has so much to learn. This time it was just CC2, next time it might be an album.
