Sep 16, 2022 The problem with reaction channels though, you can have your opinion and say an album isn’t good. Obviously it’s subjective and you like what you like but once you start getting disrespectful towards an artist you can’t get mad when they respond. Obviously Fantano is a big influence with reactions so he’s gonna get some artists who watch his s--- and can’t stand him. I don’t know what he said about Drake directly, I didn’t even know that there was an issue between them but I’m just saying. But on the other side, Fantano gonna love this s--- and feed off it so Drake shouldn’t have said anything And if Fantano just said an album wasn’t good then I don’t see the issue. Drake also got mad when Joe Budden said Views wasn’t good so he’s definitely sensitive to criticism.

Sep 16, 2022 There are reaction channels, and then.... there are channels that act as if they were some kind of experts on music (all sorts of music). Shawn Cee and Fantano are among those. They aren't reaction channels. They pretend to be expert critics. But if they were (music experts), they'd be working for a magazine, newspaper or some big media outlet. Instead, they sit at home making cringe faces and tearing down pretty much every artist unless it's their favorite one. A clear example of that is Kendrick Lamar. They can't seem to be objective about him and they praise everything he does while critiquing other artists when they say or do similar things. Do they have any sort of degree in music related careers? No. Their channels are based solely on opinion and opinion is subjective, of course. And when you go into an album or song with a pre-conceived idea (because you don't like the artist, or because you think he/she fell) that's when you lose all your credibility. At least other channels, such as VibezVilla, ScriptWork and Stevie Knight, are straight about it and they seem to react more genuinely, and they actually try to breakdown the songs, trying to understand what the artists were trying to accomplish or say, instead of making cringe faces with stupid effects like they are above everything. LOL Fantano and ShawnCee act all super sophisticated while recording in a 2x2 room at home. Pretty pathetic.
