You guys have been saying that a big hit needs a pop artist, I said Rap God exists, you guys still say it has to be a pop song for it to be big, and I'm the one who doesn't get it? Did Darkness work though? Did Walk On Water? No. The big deal about WOW was Beyoncé being on a song with him and we never even saw them perform it. I do think Revival's first single should have been River, but Revival barely had any good stuff anyway. It's the only song that made some noise.

In all the posts I see him talking about Em's recent songs not being as big as his old hits and him missing the time when Em made bigger hits but not once in the process does he mention his opinion on the songs. Like homie, do you even listen to music for music? I think what @Marsh misses is a time period in his life. When Eminem was on top and more people were talking about him? Would make a lot more sense because these posts come across af if Em needs to do bigger numbers in order for him to be able to enjoy the music to its fullest.
Aug 24, 2021 I don’t know if you realize this, but Jay Z’s big solo hits pre-date Recovery. Those songs were 12 years ago. 4:44’s biggest hit peaked at 35. Wayne has had a couple songs spend some time in the top 10, but they weren’t smash hits. Uproar is the only thing truly bigger without a doubt than any of Em’s recently released singles.
Aug 24, 2021 In Jay's case he dropped 4:44, which I think is a classic. I don't think Em has dropped a classic since 09. So at least Jay dropped a better album last decade. Wayne fell off after C3 albums wise. But check the feats he's been doing. 10 times better than Em's.
