Mar 21, 2023 What are your thoughts on side B? The most sonically pleasing Em verses in the last few years have to be Adventures of Moon Man and Slim, Lord Above, and Walkthrough. I will take an album filled with songs like those. s---, From the D 2 The LBC has the best Em hook in years as well. I think the main difference between classic Em albums and current era are quality of hooks.
Mar 21, 2023 It was definitely a good step in the right direction and makes me think his next album could actually be great if he takes what he did on Side B and improves upon it. The album had good beats, good hooks, and good verses. He even dialed back the robotic rapping on some of the songs and brought that melodic side on Favorite b---- which I thought was great. I agree with this for sure. These verses along with some of Side B shows that he can still make rap that sounds good to the ear. I think sometimes he loses sight of that and goes overboard with focusing on the rhymes and syllables True, I wish he sang the hook twice each time instead of once each time though. I feel like that would’ve made the song a lot better and catchier Good point, nowadays he’d rather get Skylar Grey to do the hook
