Jul 2, 2023 Do you ever think when he raps his old songs at shows he thinks to himself “wow I sound so much better” or does he hate it? Can’t see a guy who constantly performs lose yourself and then drops what he drops now and not think there is a sonic difference

Jul 2, 2023 He probably hates it. I swear not long ago he said something about listening to his old albums and that if he could go back he "would make them much better". Think he mentioned that they were too simple or something. In other words he'd ruin his 3 classics by making them needlessly complex, more rhyming for the sake of rhyming, more fast flows, more multis, double entendres etc. The guy is very, very out of touch these days. Unfortunately the era of Youtube reactors mindlessly hyping the trash he puts out has turned him into a hideous rap frankenstein. He now thinks this is what the fans want. Only an idiot would think that though, the fact he doesn't realise that they do it for views/subs off stans is mind blowing.

Even when Kamikaze and Side A dropped he had his “speed up” moments too and if LL is matching the energy then it probably won’t sound forced

Jul 2, 2023 Having said that... he has proven that he can still drop good music. Lock it up, Marsh (yep I think it's good) Still Will, Discombobulated and more. How many times this has been said over and over and over regarding how bad his double time rapping is is starting to become cliche but it's the truth, at least for me. Rap God was good but I think the fact that his voice has deteriorated a fair amount since then, mixed with rhyming for no reason just makes the fast rapping sound bad. Hopefully this is just a throwaway leak that had no intention of being included on the album. Who knows, maybe a country style Eminem might be the s--- that'll make fans happy again (lol) Srs, he just needs to bring it back to basics and make sonically good music. Make it simple.
