Jul 5, 2023 The old ones are better in the context of when they were released, i cant even imagine a new album in the level of the old ones, it’s completely different times/eras/styles.. whatever u wanna call it.. an album recorded in 2022/2023 would automatically sound different than the old ones. If u or anyone else want the old sound, why dont u just join me in hoping for unreleased songs from that time? If he can record 100 songs for Relapse and 100 songs for MMLP2, dont give me no bs about no vaulted songs from 98-03, or that they are not good enough.. im sure vaulted primesongs are better than recent songs if u want the level of the old albums
Jul 5, 2023 Recovery is the last time i've heard new Eminem songs being played in public. Actually 90% of the times Eminem is played in public the song is Without Me (In my experience). That's always the one I hear. But I did catch someone driving by recently who was playing Warrior P.2 (Hats off to that) and another one playing You Don't Know. Respek
Jul 5, 2023 I don’t actually want his old sound, I was making fun of the people that do. He should keep evolving as an artist, and trying to recreate his old sound just wouldn’t work. He already kinda tries to do that and it fails usually. I think he is perfectly capable of making a good album with his current style. It just feels like he doesn’t have any direction. I wouldn’t mind unreleased songs but I just don’t care too strongly about it one way or the other
Jul 5, 2023 Yeah Recovery was definitely the last huge album, but MMLP2 still had some residual left over from Recovery Pretty good and fun song to put on in the background that also has some dope lyrics when you really actually listen to it. Em doesn’t really make that type of song much anymore Wow, nice. As famous as Em is, that’s still gotta be pretty rare
