Jul 5, 2023 This would be 10x better if he didn’t do a “you just don’t get it man” after the bar especially when half of his verses are full of filler dad puns now. At least in the MMLP2 era he could allow the wordplay to be discovered by the listener instead of treating us like children pointing it out constantly, which in turn ruins the replay value of the music. There’s a lot of irony in it too, because it’s probably the least complex era Em’s writing has been in ever since he embarked on the wordplay journey.

Jul 5, 2023 Exactly my thoughts. His writing since Side B is the least complex and laziest it has ever been. Will always be a mystery to me, considering Side A is on point, with his writing. Even though we’ve heard so little since Side B came out, he still continuing the path of lazy puns, treating the listeners like their children and just having line after line about how he came from nothing and now he is rich. Just lazy for such a complex artist, like Eminem. If he does release another album, which I doubt is any time soon. I still expect him to switch up his style and writing, like he usual does but he needs to think big and be more creative, more than he has ever been in his career at this point, which I’m not holding my breath for.
