Just look at the toll the Ja Rule beef took on him. And he wasn't even alone for that one. Had 50 and his whole label. He wants no part of that anymore.

Aug 8, 2023 The problem is all of the modern day legends that are still around rapping (Jay, Nas, Wayne, etc) all have love and respect for Em And all of the younger rappers that are great (Kendrick, Cole, or even younger with folks like JID, Cordae, Travis, etc) grew up on and were influenced by Em Not to mention everyone acknowledges he's one of the craziest lyricists hip hop has ever had. Given all of that context, nobody really wants to go at Em lol Plus, when he's been around for over 20 years and his whole discography is talking about his life and putting everything out there, what can you even say about Eminem in a diss that would be brutal or shocking? It's hard.
