Rihanna is not retired, she even tried to make an album few years ago, she just couldn't or gave up for some reason. I wouldn't call that retiring. That hype was just there because Em shared a pic related to having a new song after years of hiatus, so if it wasn't 2 chainz but any average rapper, it'd have gotten the same hype. If you really think anybody but few huge 2 chainz fans really care if an Em album has 2 Chainz as feature or not, you should better think again. You'd be very right if it was vice versa though.

The hype was cause Em took a pic with a rapper no one expected him to work with or even like considering he had been dissing the south and "dumb" rap. Kanye also scrapped a project recently JIK (Dre version) Jay dropped a collab tape last year, and Nas dropped last year and this year Wayne has multiple projects ready according to his manager, and he dropped the Funeral last year
