Sep 21, 2021 I think next album will be interesting to see the opinions and what direction he will go with. Hope he takes a risk and does something interesting but since the Relapse reception, he has kinda stuck to his cards with putting together an album. I think now he has more room to do something completely different in his career now and people will not be so quick to judge it, specially now his formula is kinda getting stale now. Relapse got the reaction it did because people at the time were not expecting his big comeback album to sound anything like that. Everyone expected a dark, depressing album about his life and follow the content he had from 05/06 so when Relapse came out, I wasn’t surprised lot of people didn’t like it, as the album is out there and was ahead of it’s time. So yeah, here’s to taking a risk for next album, no pandering and be more creative.
