Nov 29, 2023 the intro of the original version of CWYWF reminds me of the one of The Source. Very similar. Also singing of the hook is similar to the singing of The apple, a song of that same era. Crazy, never realized that.
Nov 29, 2023 Dope Edit, I'll totally respect your decision. Although it's a pitty. On the other hand its almost the same song, just with different verses. Yeah, Stepping Stone with the Resto sample must have been for Shady XV cause that was 2014 and he used some of his other songs on that and Southpaw a year later. He also said that beat was for Rihanna, which is crazy. He must have had really big trouble doing justice to that beat but yeah it's about Proof and D12 so it's comprehensible. Think about difficult which has no hook on it and a almost dying Marshall on pills. That song was never meant to be heard.

Nov 29, 2023 we all know this for years. I also think Stepping Stone was recorded earlier than 2017. I mean it sounds like 2007-2010. if he has the OG and its the same verses/lyrics I wouldn't see a reason why not, but it's probably different verses although the aids line sounds like Relapse.
