Jan 24, 2024 That's interesting... I don't know which makes it deeper - him answering back or not. Him answering back, at the time, showed a new dimension; showed he was self-aware, sort of let the listener in more into what he was doing... and sort of showed the miscommunication between artist > fan, I think it adds a dimension. Though, if he doesn't answer back, it's kind of like not giving a neat ending or making it easier for the listener too. I think for at the time and given the fact he doesn't let up on basically every single moment elsewhere on MMLP... it's more powerful with it.
