Jan 25, 2024 I guess that didn't hit me very much because I've heard much worse and he didn't put emphasis on it, trying to put a laugh adlib or pausing the song for have a second so people could "get it" on a terrible line really damaged his songs.
Jan 25, 2024 I think I’m starting to realize that I’m actually okay with some corny lines here and here as long as the delivery doesn’t emphasize them or make them sound worse… and as long as they aren’t too corny (like his infamous diarrhea line). I think a problem with Eminem is sometimes his delivery makes the corny lines sound so much worse than they actually are. In this verse I didn’t even notice the corny lines because of the delivery

It kind of reminds me of k--- Shot, insofar as it has no chorus, technical delivery that isn't "gross" (to quote Tyler) and is actually both impressive and listenable, no fast flow nonesnese, and a distinct tone down of simile use. It's not Eminem born a new, but I'm happy with it.
Jan 25, 2024 I really love the cycle of a new Em verse dropping. It's always cope saying he's in another prime and definitely getting ready for a new album by the same 4 people, then you wait for 2 weeks before people act like it's the worst verse ever made. Rinse and repeat.
