Apr 10, 2024 Okay, but what if they don't? Don't really see how it matters that much when it comes to enjoying it or not. Its different if they say he's a s-----y writer or smt. I think Kendrick is a great writer and storyteller. But if I'm interested in great stories I go read poems and books. Music, to me, has to be enjoyable (good storytelling is a huge plus sure). And that corny free line repeating just annoys me. @Ripper Roo said he finds it funny, that's totally fone! I've been calling out Eminem for years about his fast bs so this is not me attacking Kendrick either, but just in general. And yeah his voice isn't helping either for me. I have the feeling (some) Kendrick fans believe they are very intelligent and people that dislike him are just stupid. Well, for some people its just not that deep. They hear a song and be like, yeah not my style and move on. Regardless if its very well written or if the album is very well put together.
