Agreed, but even Benzino, Everlast, etc. had more talent as rappers than Nick Cannon. I’d love to hear the Eminem Nick Cannon diss track, but I don’t think it’s coming. I suspect he’ll continue to throw barbs at him in perpetuity, without ever giving him the satisfaction of a truly dedicated diss track*.

Regardless, I think that Eminem would shred most rappers in the industry in a battle. He’s largely lost the ability to craft songs, but he’s still pretty sharp as a battle rapper. I don’t really see any major rapper coming out of a battle with him without sustaining substantial career damage. Like it or not, Eminem still wields a disproportionate amount of power in the industry. I don’t think any modern rapper holds more power than him — not even Drake with his superior numbers could effectively repel the scathing Pusha T diss or shut down Pusha’s career. Eminem is a whole other matter. Notice that no mainstream rapper who is even close to his skill level (eg, Cole, Kendrick, Pusha, etc.) dares to utter a negative word about him. This has been the same for years, dating back to Jay-Z and Nas in their respective primes.

Quite simply, Eminem is still the most dangerous rapper in the industry. We’re all disappointed by the D'Elia-esque lyrics and yearn for the ‘02-‘03 delivery, but this dude still basically holds the industry by the balls.

*In contrast, Game recently stated that MGK won the beef — I know Eminem has hated him dating back to the Game/G-Unit split and would love to see them go at each other.

nick has wanted EM to be on wild n out for years, I think he knows em love battle rap and since clips, hollow and conceited are on there he figured that would push EM to do it more, then he just sprinkled in the usual race/age/drug/ and the stereotypical I can whoop your a--- bc youre white content. EM actually the one with the felony record and had Emmanuel stewart train him to box lol. im by no means saying EM is a tough guy but h--- even b--- em smurf who fell out with 50 still stands by his stories of what 50 was like in the streets and told the story of how when suge rolled up to the in the club video s---t they saw EM and 50 run away and they were like tf? b------s....but then they came back and just grabbed their vests and hand guns. again EM aint the baddest mother f---er in the world but hes not in bad shape for his age and having Emmanuel steward train you to box aint no small thing. the only one out of those 2 has no history of facing adversity or confrontation is Nick, we know him from nickelodeon and being a real husband of Hollywood.he always talks to the white guys on the show like he can whoop their a--- bc theyre white lol. nick is a small dude also, hes like a buck 60 at best.

BUT EM aint got no real issue with nick, I think he just likes f---ing with him and finds it funny. he prolly looks at it like bugging a kid in class just bc he gets a reaction out of them. so im ready for an album, none of us are prolly gonna find replay value in a nick cannon diss anyway. theres no huge animosity between these two. its just bc Em liked to go at Mariah and nick was collateral and he likes to bring it up and say hed whip ems a--- during interviews.

also my 2 cents on ppl saying EM doesn't have a history of ending real rappers careers....that's pretty true, although EM and 50 had the best disses towards JA and benzino. EM got dragged into that bc of association with 50. ppl say EM never goes at real Mcs….that's cuz hes always name dropping, paying homage, and shouting out dope rappers, and ppl that inspired him, and top tier rappers respect him also. he only dissed pop stars bc he was being grouped in with them in 99 and 2000, so he dissed all of them to separate himself from them. and yeah hes worked with pop stars now, theres a 10-20 year gap in those times from when he first dropped. EM has always wanted a top tier rapper to come at him. he has the rep for being able to do it partly bc 8 mile (but that's some casual fan bs argument) but mostly bc his rhyming style, its obvious hes built for that.
