I could be wrong but have thought that since first listen still do now and with their weird relapse II post i wouldnt rule it out ALSO him himself calling RELAPSE 2 corny
Sep 28, 2020 If we want to get technical the last of the Relapse sessions were in early April of 2009 at the Palms in Las Vegas. It's been a longgggg time but IIRC the last songs that were recorded were Hello and Psycho for 50's BISD. Shortly after Relapse was released they began recording in Hawaii with the intentions of making an album that was very different from Relapse. I was told back then that Refill was the best of the best from the "Relapse batch" and there were like 10 others that would never see the light of day. Obviously @Koolo leaked one of them but this "Relapse 2" album people still talk about flat out does not exist.

Sep 28, 2020 Doesn't change the fact that it was still called Relapse 2 till the end of 2009. Yes, I know that. I said the same thing. Doesn't change the fact that the half of it is still unreleased and could leak/be released in the future as re-release. Not to mention all of the songs that were recorded and not finished or finished and didn't get on the OG tracklist. Contradiction since you talked about "Refill" being creme of the crop of the batch. So there was a batch of songs meant for it and it sits on Em's HDD to this day. The fact 50 mentioned many times. BTW are you talking about Things Get Worse or Oh No?

Sep 28, 2020 I was talking about Oh No. I forgot about Things Get Worse. Not sure how that's a contradiction though my brother. There was a Relapse 2 at one point in time that was finished in April of 2009. What we got on Refill was the best 5 songs from that album(Not my words) AND Forever which was not a Relapse track. Add Oh No and TGW and that's 7 out of like 16 songs we've probably heard. I think we are arguing semantics but at the end of the day what I am saying is that the idea that there is some completed album out there that we haven't heard anything from is false. We've heard almost half of it and everybody who worked on the project said Buffalo Bill was by far the best song from both Relapse albums And although they technically didn't inform us that the Relapse 2 titled had been dropped until that tweet in 2010 I knew and posted that whatever Eminem was working on in the Summer of 2009 was a completely different direction than the album we had just gotten. I was proven correct when Forever dropped. As far as 50 Cent goes I mean the guy says a lot lol. IIRC they had one song for each of their albums. 50's was Psycho and the Relapse 2 song was called Norman Bates Motel.

Sep 28, 2020 The very first song recorded after Relapse was released was On Fire... so yeah he pivoted away from it pretty quickly. The Summer of 2009 he did On Fire, Forever, The Warning, Cocaine(actual title was Addicted) and Drop The World. That's a pretty different direction than anything we hear on Relapse/Refill. But yeah, I'm with you guys. I would like to see what a Fall of 2009 album looked like based off the strength of Cocaine alone.
Sep 28, 2020 Isn't Oh No technically Relapse (not 2) leftover? I was always thinking it's Relapse 2, but after hearing it again like 2-3 years ago I think it was for the first one going by the lyrics. Yeah, but Oh No doesn't seem finished. It lacks some detail in that beat imho to be considered a finished track and honestly I think it's Relapse leftover. I certainly understand your point and agree with it, but still would like to hear the rest of the planned album. The part that didn't get released through any means and I think everybody or at least the majority of people that talks about Relapse 2 is talking exactly about that. Yeah, seems like it lol. Yeah, but So Bad, Ridaz, On Fire and Nut Up were recorded that summer and they are still kinda Relapsey sounding. As I stated multiple times I would like to hear more Relapse sessions as well as the songs from that transition period that Cocaine was recorded in. Certainly lol. It's free publicity for him. Yeah, I heard that one, but wasn't that kinda confirmed that he was talking about Psycho in both instances and it was just called Norman Bates Motel earlier?

Sep 28, 2020 We all miss it. But even crazy mofos like Em mature...not that hes exactly mature lol. We still do get the old him time to time like Fall Ringer I Will etc... I know it's not as much as we all want though. But he is almost 50 so we cant expect him to say the word fa---- 100 times anymore.

Sep 28, 2020 When Relapse dropped he said in an interview that there's material for 3 albums, but they decided to narrow it down to 2. So we're missing a lot of songs, and even if that is 7 out of 16 that you said, there's still 9 songs to be heard and I want them all. Buffalo Bill really is great.
