Jun 19, 2025 I’m a fan since Relapse and Recovery was the only time Eminem truly felt like a superstar to me. Recovery was just hit after hit after hit. Every step on that album was a good decision — from the features to small details like this in the music videos. There’s nothing wrong with Recovery; the problem came afterward, when Em tried to replicate that formula up until 2017 with Revivel. But it wasn’t 2010 anymore.
Jun 19, 2025 I feel like a Superstar every comeback. I sell like 4 Million even when I put out a bad album. Revival flopped and I came back and scared the crap out of Em. MTBMB had Godzilla, DOSS had Houdini. Thier is literally no rapper with a better Longevity
Jun 19, 2025 I listen to Recovery for the first time in over 10 years or so. Only the songs I like. That's a good handful only. Not afraid, still goosebumps. As much as I like I'm sorry, I'm glad it went over I'm sorry as a single. Listening to Ridaz made me notice that the end of the 2nd verse sounds like it was taken from the King Mathers/album 6 era, where his voice sounded drugged up. Now that we know he likes to cut pieces together (Antichrist, Renaissance), it might be possible that that part is from a King Mathers/Album 6 song. He sounds a lot like it there.

Jun 19, 2025 Man, I ask myself why ppl bought some unimportant tracks like Jump Out or I'm Twisted (freestyle). They're not really Eminem tracks at all. Instead, we could've gotten America or some other songs. The Relapse songs are also nothing special. I understand why Em said in the Paul pod that they're not good songs. Antichrist OG was nice to hear, but I prefer the 2024 version. The standout tracks are "Smack You," "Follow Me," and "Take It" (although it's unfinished). I think, apart from Insult to Injury, I'm only interested in songs before 2008 in general. I hope Em releases something like Fuel Remix and Smack You with that voice. I realized with those songs that is what I still like the most.
