SSLP era was just so creative for the time period. The amount of conceptual songs, the story telling, the crazy one liners, the social commentary. He was so unpredictable in every sense of the word.

When Eminem first came out, I got the SSLP and I had a mixtape of unreleased songs, and I loved both of them equally. The mixtape had the songs Watch Deez, Any Man, Our House, Till h--- Freezes Over and others.

MMLP was a great album, but I've always felt that SSLP was definitely his most cohesive effort.

TES gets overrated IMO. I don't think it's nearly as good as SSLP. The only thing I can say is that it's more polished than SSLP, but that's about it.

The best "sounding" Eminem though was on Devil's Night.
