So happy for Eder, he was a beast before all the injuries ( since he moved to lille he recovered his beast mode), when he was in the WC he only had 5 games, he wasn't fit and people started to blame him, his confidence dropped and he felt an huge pressure, he thought about quitting.

Eder is probably the most humble person i ever seen, it's incredible, his father is in jail since he was 12, their parents offered him to adoption and he had a really hard life.

lmao, that kids interview was hilarious...

Nice, I didn't know that he had a bunch of injuries...I just assumed he was another Portuguese youth with potential never fulfilled...the Portuguese media just destroyed him for not scoring goals and having a slump...but that goal changes everything - he doesn't ever have to score for Portugal again lol he will forever be in Portuguese history...I hope that goal revives his career -

god looking at that Sweden game, was terrible lol joao Pereira, Miguel veloso, raul meireles, hugo almeida (Paulo Bento era)....what a disaster of a team compared to Fernando Santos...I guess Ronaldo was also injured in Brasil but those guys were nothing special

He was 6 months injured before we signed him, when he came he missed all the pre-season, he recovered in september and he scored 16 goals till february than he got a 7 months injury (he was really close to sign to Man Utd), he returned in September he did like 3 games and got injured again till April, he did 2 ou 3 games and he went to WC, it was impossible to him.

That 7 Month injury destroyed his career, i remember that our president said that he rejected a 23 million euros offer for Eder.

Probably won't put him on the higher levels of football. Take from the story of mario gotze. One moment of brilliance in the WC final didn't stop pep from relegating him to the bayern bench (where he rightfully belonged).
