Dec 21, 2023 And is gonna be super s---, one league 36 teams a team plays 8 games 4 home 4 away against 8 different teams. 1-8 goes through 9-24 gonna play a play off and the winners gonna join the 8 teams to compete in a 1/16 round than 1/8 - quarter finals - semifinals - final...Like dafuq is that ? one league of 36 teams and you playe only 8 games.

Celtic & Rangers have huge fanbases & shouldn’t be restricted to playing in that s-----y league that reaps the same results every season, it’s like Groundhog’s Day up there lol

If they just let in the Saudis on their own into the “European” Champions league then I think that’ll destroy the reputation of these organisations for the few that still think they have any lol

Dec 21, 2023 well there are 8 groups 4 teams each is from 15th of June until 13th of July so almost a month, it has the same format and number of games as the national team's world cup and has all the winners from past 4 years of the champions League from each continent and some teams that ranked best in the past 4 years on their continent. Is goona be a good competition.

Dec 22, 2023 @aleeex1923 i hope that fifa world club cup does well…such a great idea…I hope it becomes popular and continues for years to come… They have it for summer….but… Only problem is…do they out out the best players out there….I can see European clubs sending reserves and not all the stars…having big money players rest… unless big money is involved…they will stay with winning domestic and champions league and or super league When do the stars rest? Lol even if it’s every 4 years…

Qualification therefore brings €50m as a minimum, while there will be other results-based bonuses and the winner will receive around €100m. This is money which would add to the prize funds obtained from a potential run in the Champions League. For example, reaching the last 16 is worth €9.6m to which must be added the proceeds from the results of the current group, the historical ranking and of course ticket sales."
Dec 22, 2023 sounds good, thanks for that info…you’re 10o% right…if it makes sense financially…then we will get to see the best players play…. realistically 2025…I think it would be a shock to see anyone but 2 euro powerhouses being in the finals…especially with full teams out there
