I can't believe this. Just read an article on his SNL Performance and he is getting clowned on just like he said in his song. He is aware. But I bet he thought he was gonna receive a lot of positive reactions like from Love The Way You Lie. I think Eminem is rattled right now. He thought that by playing the sympathy card he would draw a lot of positive attention. So now he doesn't know what to do and is own song is coming back to haunt him.

This is a very sad day. Back in the day I could never imagine Eminem being frowned upon. We are watching him deteriorate rapidly in front of our eyes. He's making a clown out of himself. He has become Moby and a Grandfather rapper, the very type of person he used to make fun of.

All legends fade. Jordan couldn't get it done when he came back to the Wizards. Kobe was never the same after the ACL injury. Eminem looks like he cannot come back from this. I'm not saying I was expecting him to be MMLP Eminem. But it looks like he can't even get back to making music as good as Recovery, which is sad.

lol, a few specifically plucked tweets to slant the article (the one you read, cuz i read it too). Twitter is always a divisive audience.

    For contrast:

I mean ... he is a 45 year old rapper. He's gonna get flack from the twitterverse regardless of how good he is.

op is 100% right. completely destroyed his legacy.

his last album should of been:

    my darling
be careful what you wish for
    the apple
    love you more
    difficult
    we as americans
    beautiful
    when im gone
    its been real
    no apologies

released just before he's dies of od in christmas 07. would have been perfect for his legacy.

    Op is right.

    It has backfired.

Eminem's appearance not helping either. He looks like he is having a mid life crisis and looks and acts like a bum. He really should retire but he has nothing else to do.

He's a rap god. Lightning fast rap. Also super smart. This code is really hard to crack.

He just needs this album to be a very mature album that everyone can relate to. He has to know that he's only appealing to the people who grew up with him. Everyone has their lows. I think he can still redeem his legacy if he had a more mature Eminem Show type album. He can obviously still flow when he wants to (revenge). People talking s--- about his performance have never been true fans, young, or Trump supporters. I mean he actually asked for less fans with the storm. So he shouldn't be surprised.

Eminem is not appealing to the people who grew up with him. That s--- stopped after the Eminem show era. We hung on during encore, hesitantly bought relapse and pitied Recovery. By the time whatever next albums came out it was f---ing crickets from the folks who had hope for another slim shady triple threat. Stans were in purgatory and now we are finally realized this dude done dragged us straight to h--- with his foolishness and those who stay for revival can enjoy burning in the inferno because I sure the h--- ain’t. After than berserk fuckery I filed for separation from marshall but yeah I still been lettin him hit it once in while but nope, I ain’t f---in around with this stunt double Eminem era. Marshall you can hit it one more time tonight but I’m filing for divorce in the morning.
