    What up fellas?!?!

Any of you Fan Duel? I know basketball season is too long for online message board fantasy leagues, but maybe we could do nightly games here and there or nights there are tons of games whatever.

I play almost every Jazz home game with the crew we work with, its fun harmless and $1-2 games no biggie to lose either.

Let me know and we'll set up a game next week sometime.

Think we need to backup fantasy, pick 'em and other such leagues with ESPN or Yahoo leagues just in case the board goes down like times before.

Fantasy sports are huge in the US, especially fantasy football. There are now web sites that have daily fantasy sports for basketball, hockey, baseball, football, soccer...and you pick a lineup, play against other people and win some cash.
Daily fantasy sports will soon take over the season long fantasy variety.

Yeah, daily fantasy is a good alternative for me, since I am the unlucky guy, who drafts someone like Peterson last season and he gets suspended immidiatly, with your firstround pick gone, my season was over, this happened a lot lately to my firstrounders. so i played on Fanduel(got a 100% signup bonus from this site: https://fantasysportsdaily.com/reviews-and-promos/fanduel I am still playing with my first deposit, and i am up $50 i guess. I useally play for $5 per week in football and $1 contests in Basketball

Really saddens me that this is probably true, I think you're right. I love managing a team throughout the year and doing it that way, I'm not really into the idea of doing it for 1 game.

People will still play season long...but I've already dropped down to only 1 season long NFL league for money. Putting forth the time/effort into a $100 buy-in league to maybe win $800. My time was better spent last season playing weekly and getting paid instantly as well. Not to mention I have a much better understanding of all the DFS sports/basic strategies for GPPs/Cash games...there is a lot of money to be made right now while the industry is growing...there is still an edge for those who put in some effort.

In my opinion daily fantasy sports beat direct betting by far. The experience is completely different, it just brings a much more active feel to the whole thing and it definitely requires a much more in-depth understanding of the game and about the players themselves. I realize that it's sometimes very hard to get started and actually win but I've discovered that it is practice that actually separates the fantasy sports players. If you are a beginner, I'd recommend that you follow websites, such as fantasysportsdaily.com that post daily picks and tips. What that does is that it allows newbies to catch up with more experienced players more quickly but then again, when you reach a certain level, it's up to you to get ahead.
