Jan 29, 2016 Yeah it's been a roller coaster. I always thought after his 1st ACL (crazy to think it was almost 5 years ago) that he'd return to that level, partly because of how hard he worked and his unshakable confidence. He had a dream start to his career, drafted by your hometown, ROY, ASG, all star starter, and of course MVP. Watching him now is like the bootleg version of 2011. Every now and then you see the flashes and it's hard not to dream of him being mentioned w/ the NBA's elite. He's still a very good player, and IMO if he'd never had the face injury in training camp, he'd be an all star. He says some crazy s--- sometimes, but it's from a good & honest place. I'll always ride for this guy until the day he retires.
Jan 29, 2016 I remember the ACL tear.. smh.. I was in Chicago for a basketball tournament and I was watching the game in my hotel and was just like "s---, did this really just happen?"
Jan 29, 2016 I remember that s--- like yesterday. I was about to leave the house to go hoop and I see Thibs' dumbass put him back in up 15 w/ under 2 min left. I thought at worst he's out for the series. Get to the gym and got the news it was torn and real talk, felt like somebody died. Most depressing hoop session of my life.
Jan 29, 2016 It was terrible. d--- i need to participate in the sports section more often! I love the NBA so much. I get to see KOBE play for the first time in my life this February!!!!! Been a Kobe fan ever since Ive been an NBA fan around 6 years old! This guy is like Eminem to me when it comes to sports.
Jan 29, 2016 Nice, where you gonna see him? I'm trying to get tickets for the game in Chicago towards the end of Feb. Definitely try and post in the NBA discussion thread, it's kinda hit or miss as far as activity during game time but it's usually good during nationally televised ones.
Jan 29, 2016 Lakers @ Pacers Pacers are my 2nd fav team cus they basically a "home town" team.. they closest NBA team to me
