Feb 8, 2015 Yeah it's pretty f---in dope -- felt a lot more personal than any of his other releases for sure
Feb 8, 2015 Royalty isnt is great, it just sounds very commercial to me and it has classic bino songs like Make it go right imo
Feb 8, 2015 Very unpopular opinion, but I went with Culdesac. I don't know why I love it as much as I do, I just do
Feb 8, 2015 Yes. Do I think it's better than Camp? No. I just got so tired of Camp because it was literally all my friend listened to for about 3 months straight
Feb 8, 2015 Because the Internet is clearly his best work but favourite is a completely different question
Feb 8, 2015 Kauai is the easiest to listen to. very mellow, calm, etc.. easy to put it on while multitasking. i like s--- like that.
Feb 8, 2015 Love it. I don't really dislike any Gambino project (though I haven't really given a solid listen to the I Am Just A Rapper series, Sick Boi, or Pointdexter.) STN MTN is probably my least favorite out of everything, but I still wouldn't call it bad
Feb 10, 2015 soooooo i decided to check out some of his projects today after only hearing my shine in the OP and thinking it was f---ing dope. i started with because the internet. everyone is saying its his best project so i thought it would be good to start off with. tbh, wasnt feeling it at all. got half way through and stopped. i usually like projects like this, experimental and original. something you dont hear everywhere you go. so i dont know why i dont like this. dont hate, just my opinion. hopefully it grows on me. my first thought was, if this is his best project and i dont like it, im not gonna bother checking out his other s---. glad i didnt end up do that because i then checked out camp. and my thoughts on this? f---ing fire, loved it. i had to listen to it a second time over because i liked it that much. incredible album. the style sounded like a mix between what would happen if kanye were to produce for any of the TDE guys. really enjoyed this s---. after that i needed more so i checked out royalty. again f---ing loved this s---. little bit more commercial than camp but i dont mind that. the guests and production were great. that Unnecessary s--- with schoolboy q and ab-soul had me all like best mixtape ever. so the moral of the story is, i am now a gambino fan! dudes f---ing dope. will listen to the rest of his projects tomorrow. thanks SXN80 for making this guy known to me
Feb 11, 2015 Camp, definitely. EP and Cul de sac after that. Royalty and BTI are great too. All the other early ones were meh. Listened to STN/MTN or Kauai a few times on Spotify, forgot about them though, I'll have to re-listen. Some Troy gifs, cuz, why not. Oh and I forgot where it's from but another amazing track is Eat Your Vegetables. Listened to this so many times when it came out
Feb 11, 2015 It's still Camp. Before the Internet is good too, but that DJ Drama mixtape has some of the worst bars on it I've ever heard from the guy. Thought he was trolling.
Feb 12, 2015 Eat your vegetables is just a single release but not released as an official single it's just one of those random tracks he dropped
Feb 12, 2015 Am i the only one who thought BTI is a better experience without the script? BTI > EP > camp > kauai > culdesac > everything else
