    From about 2002 - 2006

eminem in his prime. 50 cent rolled in on the biggest buzz any rapper has ever had. Game, banks and buck all had good debut albums. The mixtape scene was flames back them. Cham, Wayne, game, Royce, banks so much good s--- . Can’t even begin to name it all.

and that was the era I started to fall in love with hip hop. I have listened to it all my life. But I was to young to actually follow pac, biggie , nwa, the old school legends.

So much heat during that period, so many legends in it.
I feel like rappers were more hungry back then. The competition was high and you could see how rappers tried constantly to surpass the others and themselves. :whew:

99-05. Everything put out by aftermath, shady and g-unit was incredible. Xzibit, snoop, nate, jay, kanye were all on fire at this time. That era got me hooked on this s---.
