Dec 17, 2015 Agree about 9 and 12. Agree about 8. Couldn't disagree more about 10. One of my favourites! Filling a sphere grid was such an amazing feeling. Got platinum trophy on the hd version. Completely agree about 7. 13 is definitely a grind. 13-2 is actually better imo but I lost interest in it and never completed it. Haven't touched 13-3 and doubt I ever will.
Dec 17, 2015 Same here. I'll take it however they give it to us. So many people of all different ages have been asking for this for so long and honestly, it's such a cult classic that it's going be impossible to please everyone. I'll be happy whatever!
Dec 17, 2015 I was told that if you f--- that sphere grid up though that you can possibly f--- your whole game up.... is that true? I've heard of 13-2 but they even made a 13-3? Wow.
Dec 17, 2015 No not at all. It's impossible to screw it up. 13-3 was called "lightening returns" and based on a countdown timer which meant it was linear and you'd die if the timer hit zero.
Dec 17, 2015 This all makes me want to start playing FF7 again. I've had it sitting on my computer for a minute now and I keep forgetting to finish my game. Think I'm somewhere on Disc 2 content. Also really makes me want to back to work on the RPG I started last year
Dec 17, 2015 Sick about the sphere grid thing, I never really gave it much of a chance. I have the HD Remaster so im going to try it again. 13-3 Sounds weird. Not sure if im gonna get it, I might watch some previews
Dec 18, 2015 I'm replaying it on PS4 at the moment. Brings back memories! Deff do some research before getting it. Reviews were crap, that's for sure. Lie I said before though, 13-2 was a welcome surprise after the boring s--- of 13.
Dec 18, 2015 Is there a world map in 13-2? Unlike the constant running to the destination without any deviation it seems with FF13. I'm only on chapter 10 so not sure if it changes after that?
Dec 18, 2015 i can't remember if any of the little psp and stuff games they made showed what happened to Cloud between Zack dying and joining Avalanche that caused him to lose his memories, the only one I played was crisis core. Maybe with this episodic release it will touch on that, they said they are hoping to surprise even the people familiar with the story.
Dec 18, 2015 True. Apparently Zack turns into the monster that Cloud first looks at the Nebliheim (sp?) Reactor when he visits it with Sephiroth for the first time. When he looks into the pod, and then falls to the ground and shakes his head.
Dec 27, 2015 No world map, no. The games would end up being bigger than Skyrim if they made a proper world map. Lots of large areas to explore though with different outcomes based on the weather (that you choose) and based on what time in the time continuum you are. Big, big focus on time travel. Which is why I love it I think!
