    Finally got to It's Only the End of the World. Dolan's music sequences are just mind blowing.

    yeah it's definitely up there. not quite dark knight level, but easily better than most mcu films imo. some people are saying its the best comic book movie ever, or at least best xmen.

    nahhhhh i watched big little lies and girls but fell asleep (had flu like symptons) - should i?

    I watched it it was ok didn't see it straying too much from recent apatow + litany of other "comics as themselves" shows

    ha true. Not the biggest Pete Holmes fan as a comic, but I love Artie and it looks like there will be a lot of comedians making guest appearances. I thought it was funny for a first episode but it could def get old real quick...I actually saw Apatow at Comedy Cellar not long ago, he's not the best comedian

    That's dope - I've been there once and aziz walked in to do a set. But ughhh apatow is so insufferable -- I've read his book, and know standup is dear to his heart, but like dude: you don't have it. Stick to championing other voices lol

    But yeah I'll give crashing a shot I just wonder how it's going to differentiate itself. People knock Girls but at least Dunham developed a specific voice/point of view. Would it k--- apatow to give a black comic a tv deal?
