    Sicario is an all-timer, can't even express how hype I am for Soldado.

    Sheridan's cool. His dialogue can be hit or miss, usually the former when he isn't trying to be funny or Texan. He seems to be one of the few writer/director's capable of making dark, adult thrillers that don't lose their teeth after the first or second bite. His setting's all have this real defined, decrepit foundation that really jive with the focus on authority and how their actions have shaped the world they're trying to protect. Despite Sicario's blunt, almost childish mockery of the drug war, it totally speaks to my hippy politics and rightfully breaks that s--- down to the absurdity that it is.

    Thought h--- or High Water was just good, haven't thought much of it since. Sheridan probably got more out of those tired archetypes than could be reasonably expected, but there's a glass ceiling with these films when the characters/story are featured so prominently above everything else. There's naturally gonna be a regression when you don't have Villeneuve/Deakins/Johannsson constantly working their magic.

    As for Wind River, I expect far more Villeneuve than I do Mackenzie. @Charlie Work

    Trust me bois, there's a flashback in Wind River that made me consider walking out of the theater and I'm not that type of person.

    Don't miss seeing it in theatres it's breathtaking.

    Also, watched Good Time and Logan Lucky recently. Good Time was a career changer for Pattinson(hopefully the tide turns for him. I've been a big fan of his since Cosmopolis). Reminded me of Victoria but better. Logan Lucky was lots of fun. Glad Soderbergh is back.

    Every single poster they've released is a piece of s---. This is astounding.

    Missed that chance by almost a year :emoji_slight_frown:

    Think the 90 minute Blanchett cut is coming to the French iTunes on the 4th.
