    Occasionally. Mostly at the theater and rentals on Amazon Prime. I just thought I would share it for those who might have their eye on something. On a related note, I'm currently being strong armed into buying a bootleg of the Polish movie Forbidden Songs (1946) because it's the only version I can find with english subtitles. Lucky me.

    stopping by to post this cuz @Twan told @Vahn that Blade Runner was mid tier

    im kinda torn because i think Blade Runner 2049 is a better movie, but i used to think Blade Runner was a 5/5, but Blade Runner 2049 feels like a mid tier film not a classic

    very conflicted

    While its technical craftsmanship is beyond reproach and it looks every bit as good as you'd expect from Deakins-shot sci-fi film, I found Blade Runner 2049 overall to be completely flat from a storytelling standpoint. I never connected with Gosling's internal crisis, so much of its runtime for me was just glacial plot development with little intrigue.

    The original Blade Runner isn't a personal favorite or anything, but I think it mostly earns its reputation, and it has a certain gritty, messy quality that its large-scale, streamlined sequel lacks.

    I watched like 20 minutes of Blade Runner, turned it off, and haven't looked back since.
    Alien is the only Ridley Scott movie that I need in my life.

    Well The Snowman bombed hard. Alfredson says they didn't get to s---t 10-15% of the script. I thought the trailer looked terrible myself, but I was willing to trust the name. Now idk what to see this weekend. Maybe Geostorm or The Foreigner. They're showing The Exorcist tonight, but I was planning on catching something tomorrow.

    I'd catch Mother while I'm there but we got a haunted house thing to go to and there probably won't be enough time

    It was either miss the movie or be stuck in the city for the night. Roommates don't give a s--- about my movies
