Sep 8, 2016 ROSTER YXNGXAN (Vocalist) TRUSWAG (Head Designer) SLAIDE GEIN (Vocalist) KHROAM (Producer & Vocalist) GUCCI FLIPFLOPS (Vocalist) YXNGXAN Discography His discography used to be bigger but s--- got deleted, a lot of it wasn't up to par with his latest work anyway as sad as it is. (All of these projects came out in the last 2 months.) Overdose (6 Track Project) in a big return to form XAN returns out of nowhere with a new project titled cryptically as "Overdose." This whole project is fire with stand out tracks being Never Sober, Sipping Syrup Since First Grade and the dopely named track Walking Pharmacy. All Day All Night is a very unusual unconventional track that gives off a unique vibe and the flow and delivery Khroam employs on Never Sober is absolutely incredible. All in all a great project and XAN also has a very versatile vocal range. Kolumbine Muzik (6 Track Collab Project w/ Yung Wet) Wow! The bass straight away melts my ears on the first track only to be greeted with even more hard street s---. Yes this is Kolumbine Muzik. My Little Pony samples and gun sounds litter this project as Yung Wet and XAN go in with several chaotic flows and melodies. Every track is dope but Nextel, Golden and My Little Rarri are the highlights. Kolumbine Muzik 2 (6 Track Collab Project w/ Yung Wet) Mexico is the goat XAN song, But we again have a mix of street s--- and melodic lullabies everyone is happy and the production is as dope as ever. The Mummy hook is also revolutionary and this is my favourite XAN project as every song is dope or amazing. Geek'd EP (4 Track EP) Taking a break from the Yung Wet collabs XAN is making much more worrying material on this EP as the subject matter heavily covers over dosing and a disconnect from society even on the bangers. Xanman is harder than bricks and the best track Robotrip (Single) Very lean induced drug tribute track, very eerie undead dazed production. I have no idea if this is a throwaway track or if it's meant for a project but it's a great drug song either way. Check (Single) Another one of XAN's best tracks goes hard at the same as being very emotional, this song always gets me in my feelings even as I turn up to it, A worthy listen and another perfect hook. This is a single for Overdose 2 as we eagerly anticipate it. <UPDATE> Okay so since the OP was posted XAN has dropped 3 more projects. Overdose 2 (6 Track Project) The highly anticipated sequal to Overdose is finally out! The first two instrumentals of this collection sound almost XXXTentacion inspired and they give off a more emotional alternative vibe. This doesn't last however as we then subject our ears to the druggy anthem of "Yah" and then we continue through a series of songs that feel more like easy listen singles. Check continues to be my favourite song despite it's short length. All the songs are great and feel experimental in some sense. Snowman is a very eerie listen, it almost makes you feel uncomfortable with the mixed feelings trapped in the song. XANISTAN (5 Track EP) " Recorded in Pakistan YXNGXAN makes a surprisingly well done relatable pop rap EP. Right off the bat "Feel Like s---" connects directly to the audience because it reminds the listener of times when everything is good but they still blatantly feel like... s---. This is further evidence of why XAN is such an innovative and interesting artist of our time. But it isn't all singing and drug odes, we also have some more trap flavored tracks like "AK Wit Da Beam" and "Flex Up Run Yo Checc Up" Khroam as usual kills his verse and these both go hard. A lot of this EP reminds me of some of Chief Keef's more pop flavoured hits and even of Sremmlife 2 but that's just my opinion. This is the most positive we've seen XAN and this is definitely worth a listen as it is much more easy to get into than some of XAN's more alternative tracks. (No play list to link) Kolumbine Muzik 3 (6 Track Collab Project W/ Yung Wet) What a time, finnaly we get Kolumbine Muzik 3. Yung Wet seems to be more present on this project than on the past KM's. The flow on "Slick" is untouchable and the hook goes hard. "No, No" uses a very experimental by Wet while XAN does his thing going in with an almost disturbing noisey instrumental. "Orange" is one of the best songs on here and it reminds me of the vibe of the "Big Gucci Sosa" tape. Some good quotables by XAN and the song is fun in general. Holy s--- now let's talk about "Drama" this beat is hard as f--- and there is some savage lines in this. XAN absolutely grills this s---! This is like brain damage in a audio capsule in a good way. SLAIDE GEIN (SLEEZY) Discography Sleezy had a rather shaky beginning in his discography but eventually found his sound and has since stuck exclusively to making diverse cohesive EP's. SCARECROW EP This is an experimental Team Sesh type project that has some more street related bangers like "John Wick" as well as some more emotionally driven cries for help with "Tassie Floods" it seems more abstract than any of Slaide's past work and is a step in the right direction sound wise. Not many projects sound quite like it. Sleezy also uses some highly irregular vocal effects and projections on this. GARGOYLE EP This is the most accessible project by Sleezy, it utilises beautiful melodies and superb flows to illustrate unique vibes unique to Slaide. "ColdAndItSnow" "Avengers and "DazedAndConfused" are highlights. Although this is an easy listen "6PM On Soundcloud" and "Sidelines" aren't the best of tracks. This project has a unique sound and is surprisingly gentle even with the use of an extremely deep voice. BLACK SLIME EP A 13 track EP, well it is 2016 and anything goes. This is a loose concept project about Black Slime or sin slowly overtaking an individual and leading them down a life of crime and partying. The interludes on this are stellar and there is more FC credits than ever before. "Mist In Newstead" sounds familiar to a Yachty sound while the amazing "Tasmanian Demon" goes down a more Travi$ route. So much diversity and although not all tracks succeed this is an interesting musical leap of faith after the easy listen of the GARGOYLE EP. DEAD CITY EP This project sounds more like the SCARECROW EP than any other of Slaide's recent works. Less audio effects are used and autotune is only used on 3 of the 9 tracks. This EP contains the dope dark intro of "Take Me Home" while at the same time delivering a throwback disco party track titled "Black Diamonds" there is only 1 FC feature and this project seems very minimal. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, "Fluorescence" is also a particularly interesting moody track about drugs and the decline of Sleezy's hometown. All in all this sound very decayed and dark containing songs discussing suicide, depression, anxiety, murder, drug abuse and many other eye brow raising themes. The darkest of these is "Dead City Killer" with one of the most hate filled deliveries ever witnessed. (Go to 2:35) there is also many uses of nostalgic scattered samples and an interesting outro in the form of "Pajamas" which is a positive pop song which reminds the listener of when Kanye ended the chaotic Yeezus with the upbeat Bound 2. KHROAM Discography Dirty Fanta Shawty (6 Track Project) This is an instrumental track created by FC's own Harley Quinn aka the one and only Khroam. High quality light trap beats litter this project with heavy bass and pretty synths. This is the contrast that is present in all FC music even the instrumentals. The mixture of beauty behind chaotic powerful noise. Whole project is filled with dope beats to rap over or just to cruise along with. Could also see some of these like "im hoarse" being placed in a video game. $$$ (3 Track EP) Khroam doesn't vocalise his talent much but when he does it's always interesting. Khroam eerily spits over his own beats with very unique deliveries that sound almost like he was held at gun point while recording. Khroam sounds very frantic indeed, especially on the intro "Wet" but this suddenly slows down as we get that wave of harmony that is "Calling" this track is beautiful and hypnotising. Most of these are tracks are very short and you just wanna place them on repeat. The final track "Nah" reminds me of X-Files with the sci fi background loop that only adds character to Khroam's unusual flow and delivery. GUCCI FLIPFLOPS Discography Gucci and Friends presents: Cooking With Friends The first thing you'll notice about this project is how fun it is, you can hear in Gucci's verse that he's enjoying himself. 2/3 of the features on this are a part of FC and Gucci's flow is one of the smoothest around. Entertainment is above everything on this project as Gucci keeps the attention of the listener throughout all of his pop culture referencing bars. This is the fun loving Gucci we have come to love.
