Where the f--- did neymar even dive there? i'm looking at it in slow motion and neymar was clipped at the knee before showing any signs of falling down.

I mean cmon, can we have some more opinions on this @SoccerSXN
@Guma thinks the above wasn't a good penalty call

Everyone is prasing Neymar and its fully deserved.

Messi been carrying the team all season but in this 2 games against PSG Neymar was de best by far.

Without Ney they would never been able to pull this epic s--- out. Messi looks a litlle bit tired but he will comeback stronger.

When Roberto scored the game winning goal, I ran out of my house screaming at the top of lungs. That was the most intense game I've ever watched in my life. Absolutely unbelievable. Neymar totally put the team on his back in the final 10 minutes of the game. He talked big before the game (he bet teammates that'd he score 2 goals which he did) and he backed it up.

People will b---- and complain about the ref. In games like this, that's always what happens but it's a part of the game. If you're not going to have a reviewing process like in American football, there's going to be mistakes by the refs. I think Suarez went down very easily in the box on that penalty in particular. Probably shouldn't have been a penalty but oh well. PSG was up 4-0 going into this game. They can't blame the refs for this one, I'm sorry.

Neymar penalty was 100 percent a penalty. Suarez one was a dive. But as much as I despise Barcelona, psg didn't deserve to go through, they were awful. Well played Barcelona, hate saying it.

Couldn't really have said it better myself. I'm now surprised after last night that PSG actually managed to win 4-0 back at home?!?! Barcelona defense is poor recently, and from the few chances PSG got last night while attacking, they had pretty crucial ones and were so close to scoring. Had Barcelona played with a team that can actually defend, I don't think this comeback would have been even possible or close. Unai Emrey messed up real bad and just handed the game and not discrediting or taking away anything from Barcelona. They had faith, believed and they just fought till the end. That's the beauty of football.

K, gonna try giving my interpretation of what happened and why enrique should take some credit for this.
    Typical punditry
Barcelona was obviously going to be vulnerable to counters, Pique's heat map was higher than Di maria's . The problem with the high press is that PSG's counters are actually more streamlined as they are given more space and our defense won't be as organized as a parked bus. Thus the counter attacking side as usual was given the better chances to score. Not to mention that PSG has loads of young, energetic and fast players in their squad.

In the last game in paris we were destroyed because of the way psg pressed. We were forced wide when attacking and PSG's counters went straight through the middle . Busquets was often left isolated in transitioning and PSG did like almost every other team we played this season and targeted him. That's why people were heaping praise on their midfield trio. Because barca left them uncontested in the middle and allowed them to run free. Overrun midfield, means PSG can push foward faster and easier and it also prevents us from effectively going foward. Any break neymar tried to make, was instantly choked out by 4-5 players, messi was completely pocketed and suarez was properly isolated.

That game was as much barca being bad as an unai Emery masterpiece. He looked at our flaws and took perfect advantage of them. Our flaws being Roberto's mismatch of pace for the wingback role, Jordi Alba's tactical indiscipline, and our midfield being being sluggish

Now for the second match, Luis Enrique somehow consulted Johan in his grave and received divine inspiration.

His new 3-4-3 has potential to bring barca back to it's best. The perk is that of barca's 3 CB's, All of them can distribute, double as CDM's, and two of them can play as wingbacks. That means we have a defense that can change while in possession into a mobile deep midfield unit (as happened in the PSG game)

Barca playing high defenders isn't new, but it's actually in some ways a better way of maintaining the high press, as instead of tracking back in counters, we have our CB's fighting for 'second balls' and aerial duels while being good enough to actually move the ball among themselves as good as (if not better than) the midfield to expose any attempts to counter press by making a quick transition to attack .

We aren't back yet at our best to pass directly through a box of players, but in the PSG match we were able to consistently put the ball in dangerous positions, recover, rinse and repeat, and in the Nou camp's atmosphere it's easy to make mistakes. In the second half, you cold say, PSG for a period actually matched our pressed since they started being more ambitious instead of bus parking and even scored the away goal, but for that glorious 7 mins after the neymar free kick i can't really blame PSG more than i give barca credit. Barca were consistently putting the ball in dangerous positions, and even if we lost it, we immediately pressed to regain (those CB's i was talking about challenging from in the middle), and smoothly transitioned back into attack. Neymar brought back the inspiration with the two goals, and maybe one of them was 'luck', but that last 5 mins were barca throwing everything at PSG, Ter stegen being as good a midfielder as di maria, Barca throwing everybody foward and neymar sending rainbow's into the box. And that f---ing pointy eared b------ finding the pot of gold. :kdotcry:

Those who didn't see the end, missed maybe one of the greatest moments in football history. PSG ended the game with 35% possession and 138 completed passes, of which they made only 4 in the last 11 mins, two of which came after kickoff from goals. We won that game off sheer inspiration from neymar, followed by maybe our best showing of raw fight in years.

This is what people call an off day for messi.
oh and @Guma , what about all the help from the ref? that penalty for being dragged down in the box by veratti at 7:10? or at 7:50 where suarez gets called for the same thing that gave him the penalty?

@Guma do you think this is at least a yellow card
    upload_2017-3-10_6-58-18.png
because let's be real, the defender on the right side is going the wrong way and messi was actually going in the direction of the arrow before being pulled down which means messi was going DIRECTLY towards goal unchallenged. So as far as i see, that could have been a straight red .

but not cards were given here.
Eh @Guma , don't you think that's a bit lucky from PSG. still think they were 'robbed'?
