It's seasonal and happens to Ronaldo once every 2-3 years. The local madrid crowd is unbearably entitled.

Well the Bale Madrid paid 100mil for was entering his prime years and pretty fit. He was also a pretty hot product. Doubt he'll return to top form. Lacks Ronaldo's level of commitment tbh.

lmao, stop blaming the other players messi too isnt really that good for argentina.. these morons reached the copa america final for 2 consecutive years and it was messi who put them down in both finals, with an embarrassing performance in the first and missing the decisive penalty in the other. im not saying messi isnt a legend and probably argentina's best ever but u cant blame the team but exclude messi

Messi was the only reason they got to those finals. He essentially has to play mid with Argentina because they have no creativity in the midfield & that's the only way they can create chances. The chances he does create, rarely get turned into goals. Argentina has no finisher. That's not to mention their horrendous management. If you watched their last game vs Venezuela, you would understand what im saying. Him & Romero were the only players you could say played well.

Zidane did tell people that his squad was significantly weaker. Games like these would usually be resolved with a Late morata goal or some magic by James.

I'd start to worry about the Champions league group a bit more given that the so called "deepest" squad in europe has thinned.

Best team performance from Barcelona since the 6-1 PSG game tbh. Messi was spectacular. Semedo & Alba were incredible. Deulofeu even had a good outing before being subbed off. Dembele was able to notch an assist in his first appearance. Just an overall great game. Can't believe Real & Atletico both dropped points again today too

Was born in the wrong generation of Argentinean footballers tbh, neither of the strikers they've produced in the past 10 years hold a torch to Crespo let alone Batigol and Riquelme's vision and playmaking really would have gotten the best out of Leo.

But idk, I've seen Argentina try every formation to make Leo comfortable but nothing ever seems to get the best out of him? It's better when he's there to finish off attacks rather than let him be the lone creative outlet.

Also today's result for Real....not a good result. Ronaldo can't come back soon enough and shove his boot up Bale and Benz's a--- to wake them up. There's a lot of creators but we need that 20-yard presence up front (I miss you Morata) to make it all work, Zidane had some interesting ideas but sadly it didn't pan out. Plus Barca racking up points piles on the pressure, no excuses now.

A lot of it has to do with poor managing imo. From selecting players to formations & just the overall lack of chemistry the team has. I mean a lot of these guys have been playing together for years now & they still don't look compatible. It's really astonishing tbh... they have the talent, they just don't mesh together. Been saying that Argentina should hire Diego Simone. He was in consideration a couple years ago but they decided to hire Tata Martino who couldn't even win a trophy with Barca smh...

This performance was better than that tbh.

We look world class on every level. Suarez and Iniesta were far from top form, and Deulofeu though having a good game, doesn't strike me as having the sheer brilliance required to be a starter. Otherwise every other player looked world class. Especially Jordi Alba and Rakitic.

The only problem i have is that we don't quite have the incisiveness to walk through the middle of the pitch but i think if Valverde gives Denis more chances and Rafinha returns from injury we'd have just that. This team can improve. It's quite exciting.
