Barcelona has been exposed as the fraud one man team that they're. They'll crumble after this. And After Messi, they won't be as competitive as they're now.

I'm sad for Barcelona but congratulations to Di Fransesco, he's doing a fantastic job with AS Roma

This c---- valverde played 4-4-2 and we were on the back foot the whole game.
Dembele comes on and we get multiple clear cut chances. This is a 80'th minute sub.

I thought it will be next Barca - Roma. We were soooo s---. Nothing more nothing less. Referee has some balls though. Btw Isco goal was not offside. @Fire Squad @Wzzi

What an absolute s--- show, I distinctly remember in the final during the 1st half when Carvajal struggled with Mandzukic's physicality on the flank and it seemed to come back and haunt us in this game, two well-taken goals. We take Sergio Ramos for granted, today was a demonstration of what he means to our team. We managed to do decently offensively but Juve defended very well and kept a strong low block (plugging vertical channels too, gotta show that to my team) to stifle CR-Bale. The 3rd goal was truly unfortunate, I think Isco was marginally offside but idk I'll see it again.

The last thing I want to hear are Juventus fans/players bitching about refs, I still haven't forgotten Calciopoli. Brutal reminder that this competition is a b---- and nothing ever makes sense in these match-ups, no easy games for us in this edition since the knockouts began.

Yea. They made many mistakes. Juve brought it. Kudos to them. It's a clear penalty (regardless of what anyone says, because of the timing). Juventus were better today. Real Madrid will fix their s--- up after this match. I can't see them allowing this trophy slip from them after what transpired today. I almost got a heart attack. Hala Madrid.

"Consideration should be given to any part of the head, body or feet of the attacker in relation to the second last defender, the ball or the halfway line " so he wasn't offside.

Vintage Real Madrid I almost got heart attack today lmao. Yeah, it was a penalty, because Benatia's knee hit Lucas back and his foot kicked him in the chest. Only Cules and butthurt Juve fans say it wasn't a pen.

Real Madrid must learn to respect their rivals, because it happens too often. For example Wolfsburg first leg 2015/2016, Borussia Dortmund first leg 2012/2013, Borussia Dortmund second leg 2013/2014, Galatasaray second leg 2012/2013 and Juve today as for Champions League goes. Don't even start me about La Liga.

Exactly, and besides, Lucas was in a perfect position to easily score or even just tap it in, so it would have been a goal either ways and the match would have ended right there. Aside from that, if the referee hadn't award a penalty, it's not like Juventus would have qualified after the 90 minute was over, there would have been extra time and a lot can happen in 30 minutes of football... We've seen what happened last year against Bayer Munich in extra time and how RM turned things around, so it's not like Juventus were guaranteed to make it through. Yes today they were the better team, Real Madrid wasn't as good as they were when they played away, but I don't think they were that bad, because they clearly had chances, but were out of luck in some, like when Varane's header hit the bar, they just made crucial mistakes that caused them to concede these three goals. Again, this match should be like a warning/wake up call for RM to fix some things up since they've managed to make it through, with that being said, I don't expect them to let this slip from them now. This definitely turned out to be the match that became the season decider for them and they have overcome that. Lastly, it takes a true leader to step up for that penalty in such a crucial time and under such circumstances... Cristiano Ronaldo shows up when the team needs him the most as always. Hala Madrid.

Yeah, exactly my thoughts. They were clinical and scored when they had their chances. Btw the best thing that came out of this mess is this butthurt of Barca fans. They were so close yet so far lmao.

It's sad that Buffon showed his true colors, but tbh I don't blame him. You don't think logically in such moments. He will eventually apologize, because it's such an obvious pen. Also as @Fire Squad said they are bunch of hypocrites, same goes for Barca fans.

We've had some neutral-friendly spectacular games because of a lack of defensive discipline even during the Mourinho years (the 2012 return at the Bernabeu vs Bayern is the most painful memory in my 20 years of watching us). Just wish it didn't have to come at the expense of rising heart-rates for us lol.

Like @Wzzi said we still pushed on in this game and had chances to put this tie to rest (Buffon saves, Varane hits crossbar), after watching it now more clearly Isco's goal should have counted. But the narrative will be the PK call, it's more so the timing of the penalty that causes the controversy but they should be mad at Benatia for that indiscipline/coverage error than anything--they played great defense all for nothing. If anything all this hate and bitterness makes the call all the more enjoyable, give us more controversial calls please!

The semis are gonna be a b---- regardless of who we draw, Liverpool-Real would be a thriller
