Liverpool will rue conceding that infantile goal, PSG beyond lucky to still be alive after lining up with just 2 midfielders against the best ball-oriented pressing team in the world. They were getting suffocated those 1st 20 mins, all that isolation from the midfield line to the front 3 made the job of marking the wings so much easier. Expected better from Tuchel

Mbappe being such a tactically disciplined player makes him so great tbh. Neymar is not only ineffective, but he's making di maria confused as to where he should be, and he's doing f--- all to stop trent from just destroying the right flank. Not sure what the h--- PSG are trying to do. They are being outclassed in the middle and being ripped apart on the flanks.

bad management maybe, but people always try to cover up how mediocre the PSG squad is compared to the European giants. they need a better midfield so neymar can f--- off and stay high.

Fitting ending, just when I thought that 1st PSG goal was gonna bite them in the a---, Firmino got the late winner. PSG desperately need a holding midfielder and today's approach with a sweeper-mid hybrid was reckless against a relentless ball-pressing team--neither Rabiot nor ADM could comfortably receive the ball between lines because of the brilliant cover shadow Liverpool implemented whenever PSG lumbered from the back. Liverpool need to stop conceding such stupid goals, can't afford to do that in knockouts.

Liverpool do have issues though. They won 3-2 against a very bad PSG. I really like their tactical system, but there are teams that will launch more frequent and brutal attacks. So if they can't outscore them then playing like that is just suicide. Barca, Madrid and Juve come to mind. If you are going to give them space to launch attacks without putting 11 behind the ball you'll have to have an extremely sharp attack, else you'll lose pretty badly.

This Tottenham team is slightly overrated it's a good squad in the past 4 years they have established them self as a top 4 PL team. But they do not look like serious title contenders or CL contenders.

The 2012 squad under Harry Redknapp was better. Bale and Lennon on the wings, Modric as the play maker in CM, Parker as the CDM, Adebayor up front

I think Spurs have been overachieving the last few years.

Dier in midfield is terrible. Dembele looks past his best as well. Kane needs rest as well.

Liverpool are bug contenders. VVD best CB in the PL. Milner is playing incredible as well. Salah & Mane not hit top form yet.
