@Michael Myers you guys played a fantastic half against Germany, solid in every part although some struggles from the right side against Kroos' vertical passes + Werner getting behind the rightback too often.

Christ what a ransack, seems like no one in Germany can score anymore--Sane had that nice chance that could have changed the game. Needless to say, when you play a high line against those jets that Holland has you will get punished.

Memphis has been world class for some time now and it's glorious to see his level of play; great iq when he gets the ball in advanced positions, off-ball movement and his usual dribbling--archetypal modern forward.

I do expect this to be a low scoring game so I'd be more optimistic about a 2-0, that return is awesome.

United need to stifle Juve's slow f---ing build-up with either a low block to impede the ball reaching vertical outlets to their forwards or (more doubtful of this) pressing high to stifle Bonnuci-Pjanic since they are the ones that touch the ball the most. A lot of set-piece specialists on both sides, might go down to one of those

I saw some encouraging signs against Chelsea, sucks there's an odd lack of defensive discipline in select moments across the team. The only thing you guys need to stay away from is playing an open back & forth game, Ronaldo with space is self explanatory.

Koulibaly is fantastic, but it's more a collective issue rather--marking zonal like what Mourinho has done for years is slowly dissipating for ball/man-oriented marking, it relieves a ton of pressure on individuals when the ball is pinged across the field or when attackers get into advanced positions to receive the ball.
