    A lot of imprecise and messy moments throughout the game but thats to be expected during the first game of the regular season. Spurs failed to capitalize on those opening minutes when they were pressing high and United struggled at build-up, but that goal was costly and they dropped the intensity/momentum. Van Gaal's subs beside Schweini were very dumb since that openly invited Spurs back into the game but Romero had a solid game...Chelsea vs Swans next will be good.

    2nd goal was a terrible mistake, 1st goal his defence really didn't help him. That's what happens when you go from Terry/Cahill to Mertesacker/Koscielny :drakelaugh2:

    If you'd ask me 3 years ago during his Basel days where Shaqiri would be playing, Stoke would be the last team on my mind :laff:

    Awesome player nonetheless he'll get his club career back on track in the BPL.

    Yea they are progressing nicely from the Hoofball days of Tony Pulis, look at how his team got crushed by City yesterday.

    You Newcastle fans might be in for a treat if Florian Thauvin signs for you guys, he's a similar attacking mid ala Nasri (coincidentally both Marseille graduates) but I promise you he's better than Cabella.
