Years ago I'd be more relaxed, but Ajax has made great strides and we've regressed horribly. I'm expecting a tricky encounter, there's a lot of youthful exuberance in that team and in true Ajax tradition they always look to impose their possessional play but that could open up space for our own jets to exploit. Should be a good game.

Hoping Tedesco pulls an ace out of his sleeve over Pep but it looks like a tall task. Juve got the worst draw, BvB-Spurs gonna be a classic and Bayern is gonna get shredded. Lyon is a potential booby-trap but Barca should be favorites nonetheless. PSG-United could be either a blowout or an embarrassing collapse from either side.

watch barca leave de-jong and de ligt at ajax just so they can kick Madrid out of the CL.

If any other team drew Utd i'd expect a obvious blowout, but a psg collapse is always on the cards, and mou can work miracles.

Should be a good one, idk if it's gonna be one of those where either coach is hiding their cards and we get another contested 0-0. But I completely doubt it since you guys have to search the result otherwise they'll have a lot of insurance on the table.

Wonder if Klopp will do the same front 4 that dismantled Arsenal, I'd throw in Shaqiri in the 2nd time to run at tires legs. Likewise City should try getting on the score line early, unlike other times this is where Alisson should see a lot of the ball--successful press-traps could make this very uncomfortable for Liverpool.

Tbh the way Im reading our line up is we are just going to try and outscore liverpool. Its going to be a good game, neither manager is the type to play for a draw

Opening minutes were very disorganized but after the high pressure both began imposing their games; Liverpool looking to exploit a mistake in build-up and City looking for Sterling-Sane isolations. How that one Liverpool chance didn't cross the line is mystifying but what a tremendous instinctive goal by Kun; the MFer didn't even look where the goal was and from such a difficult angle!

Still a very open game but City must put this to rest with another goal, Liverpool's front 3 haven't been clicking (due to tremendous coverage from Fernandinho & Kompany). A lot of options on the bench, safe to assume it's another turbocharged 45 mins incoming.

Edit: interesting thing is the trepidation from either side of utilizing the fullbacks to create overloads like they normally do, of course neither want to concede space, but that should change now that the score line opened. Liverpool's have been hugging the touch line and way too far from the midfield to help in the 2nd phase of possession, that's gotta change.
