@Alpha routine win for us, we got a big one coming up against Valencia so it was essential that whoever played today got a confidence booster. Hope to see Rodrygo & Vini on the same scoresheet for many, many more years to come haha. I feel for Jovic, that price tag is weighing on him and he looks a bit like a stranger on the field, hope he finds his feet soon. We're likely to get a tough draw, whatever the case Zidane has yet to be eliminated in the UCL so no pressure lol.

Atalanta pulled off a miracle, I can't believe they made it to the next round. Draw next week guys, gonna be some interesting match-ups.

Yeah never think I saw a team with one point after 4 rounds and to get out of the group, but they played well.
I don't know why but I feel a Valencia - Atalanta game in the next round!
I would also love to see City - Atletico Madrid and Real - Barcelona.

Yeah my bad, forgot that aspect. Long time ago they couldn't meet until the semis if I'm correct thought they changed it for good. They should have, these big championships already have so much advantages, like 3rd and 4th place playing in a CHAMPIONS competition.

Not saying this is an easy draw for Real Madrid, since anything is possible in the world of football, but hopefully that should be the end of the road for City. They honestly lack so much to compete on a European level.

Gotta see how both teams will look like by then, for all we know they'd get ravaged by injuries or be at full strength. Hopefully we'll get Eden fully fit by then and their backline is still missing leadership, Pep will be pulling whatever follicles he has left trying to figure out the enigma that is Zidane, it's a great litmus test really for both sides.

Hilariously the game I'm looking forward to the most is Valencia-Atalanta

My prediction for the teams to qualify : PSG, Real Madrid, Valencia, Liverpool, Bayern, Juventus, Leipzig and Barcelona.
I would love to see Atalanta beat Valencia but I think Valencia has a very solid game atm.

Also some great games in Europa League in the next stage like : Wolverhampton - Espanyol, Getafe - Ajax, Leverkusen - Porto or Frankfurt - Salzburg

Lack of a killer instinct cost us 3 valuable points. Nevermind them having MATS, we desperately needed that finishing touch that otherwise would have cemented a very strong display at the Camp Nou. That's something that worries me down the line, I'm hoping Hazard's ability to raise our chance creation alleviates this, only thing is we need is someone besides Karim to bury those chances (Brazilian Boys? Jovic? Kroos? Fede? Bale?). We need to keep our foot on the pedal and avoid any slip-ups in this title race, namely injuries and a congested schedule once the Copa comes along. My hope is we recover everyone and get timely contributions from the fringe players like Isco (splendid today!), Jovic, Mendy (great Clasico debut), James & Bale (if they stay), Vini and so on. Would be great if we can find a back-up for Casemiro, our season will spiral down the toilet should he get injured or suspended.

As for El Clasico...Zidane's approach worked well, we managed to dictate huge chunks of the game, albeit I would have rolled the dice and subbed in Vini & Rodrygo sooner than later. Barca had some standouts in defense and it pains me (more like thank God) seeing De Jong restricted of what he does best as a ball carrier, looks more like another shirt on the field. Valverde's 442 is tricky to break down, it's a potential trap to naive teams that can't press as good as the best. Problem is, if Messi isn't at his usual magical self, it really is lifeless. Even Griezmann has to take one for the team playing as a Left-Mid, it's very messy altogether (no pun intended).

Well well said. We need someone else to step up and score besides Karim otherwise it would be really frustrating to watch the team play and perform like that and own the field without finding back of the net, because sooner or later it will backfire on us.

@Fire Squad Dude where do I even start? These two last matches... SUPERB Performance by the team. Zizo totally re-invented the team with the absolute gem Fede Valverde (I JUST CANNOT SAY ENOUGH TO PRAISE HIM), The defense and Courtois have been a wall lately. The team is just constantly improving from one match to another. Two great performances without Eden nor Benzema. Real Madrid are on the right path. Fede Valverde stole the hearts of all Madridistas tonight.

That blitz against Valencia was something else. Today Simeone didn't set-up a deep block like Valencia did, otherwise it would have been the same exact display of dominance. It was hard fought and we had some standouts today, namely TBo & Valverde . I saw some sparks of life in Jovic in that 2nd half, dude hulked it out at one point surrounded by 4 players, I hope Zizou gives him more chances as we need Benz to be fresh and healthy.

I've forgiven Courtois of any sin he has committed, huge saves to keep us alive. God I loved every second of that red card, dude had full faith in his teammates that we were gonna win in pks. It's in his Uruguayan blood, those people will put their soul on the line if it means winning the game.

Exactly sir, Exactly. Important victory to boost the team's mentality and confidence going forward into the rest of the season, they're on a momentum. Just imagine what they'd be capable of once Hazard is clear from injury. Valverde just keeps on impressing us from one game to another. His stamina is unreal, his pace is so good, he can dribble, he can score, he is always there at the right time, he defends and intercepts very well. My God. We're lucky with this player. RM have not lost a game he started this season and he has been named MOTM more than anyone this season if I'm not mistaken. I don't wanna say much, except Hala Madrid Y Nada Mas!
