The songs aren’t exactly linked at all apart from the theme but even then framed is just a more tame version of 3 am They’re not gonna play the videos at his shows either So I don’t understand why this would be dope unless you’re talking about theme in which case, he may aswell play the whole of relapse at a show

Mar 28, 2018 Well the horror s--- he did on relapse was a theme. It was bad, but the production, flow and the fact that it felt genuine made it kinda, I dunno a real eminem album. This song is just a terrible attempt to recapture that theme.
Mar 28, 2018 I mean you can complain about the fact he chose a theme of being a serial killer etc but you can’t really slate his execution of the ideas; the eerie imagery he captures on songs like Stay Wide Awake, Buffalo Bill, 3am & Same Song & Dance while keeping crazy rhyme schemes going with great flows on great production makes it pretty great listening for a lot of the tracks imo. Obviously has it’s flaws & far from a perfect album but I feel as though people exaggerate it both ways: by calling is a classic (it’s not); or by calling it absolutely dreadful (which it also isn’t)—often by quoting a bad lyric from the album out of context lol But that’s just how I feel on it
Mar 28, 2018 Part of the problem that comes with such a huge fanbase unfortunately, which affects how he views his own work e.g. the mixed reaction of Relapse, consequent scrapping of Relapse 2 But I do tend to see it especially in regards to Relapse—it’s either a ‘cult classic’ or a ‘pile of s---’, especially with some posts I see on here. Apparently there’s no middle ground lol
